Hanging and care
Hang away from direct sun and heaters. Roll from the bottom, painting side in. Never fold. Dust with a soft dry brush; never use water on the painted surface.
Why this one
Vajrapani, the protector who embodies the power of all Buddhas, in his wrathful blue form. He stands in a striding warrior posture within a blaze of flame, raising a vajra in his right hand, crowned with skulls and wearing a tiger skin. Three Buddhas sit above. Below are four-armed Chenrezig and Manjushri with his sword — with Vajrapani, the Three Protectors (Rigsum Gonpo): compassion, wisdom and power.
Black-and-gold style; the blue of the central figure is the strongest colour on the canvas.
